Identifying Our Photos: A Work Session will be the focus of GRIVA’s October members’ meeting on 10/26. Instead of featuring a speaker, this meeting will give our membership a chance to share their knowledge and get help with their photographic mysteries. All are invited to bring examples of identified photographs from different eras and locales to show (copies preferred – don’t risk your originals!), as well as images from unknown places and times. Our GRIVA members with considerable experience in evaluating photographic evidence may help you spot a clue or two to bring that elusive relative out of the shadows.
Join us on October 26, 2010 at 7:45 p.m. at the Bon Air Presbyterian Church, 9201 West Huguenot Road, Richmond, Virginia. There will be a short GRIVA meeting before the work session with refreshments and social time afterwards. Our meetings are free to the public and visitors are welcome.
